repairing the bike

 well I finally had a go at repairing the bike tubes.
I've got 700 x 19/23 and used a bike repair kit and when I had run out of the repair patches I used some of the rubber from a tube I had cut up.

I plan to blow them up to 100psi so we'll have to see what happens.

the photo shows the repair patch with backing left on/ with the bit of rubber from the old inner tube /with backing taken off.

I had saved up about 5 of the tubes that had been punctured and did them all in one go.

I'll use them up one by one and see how long the repairs last.
