Easy Indian vego.

Ok . easy Indian vegetarian. From my brother in law.
This is what you need.


one cup of yellow split peas in a pressure cooker.
one cup of water.
a pinch of turmeric.(not shown in photo)
some garlic, chili, curry leaves and salt.

Put the split peas , turmeric and water into the pressure cooker and cook till it blows of steam once (whistles)
chop up the chilli and fry it up with the garlic and curry leaves.


add all of this to the pressure cooked split peas.
Serve it up with some rice and maybe a papadum/pickles.
You're done.
